Spread Your Wings
This song “Spread Your Wings” is by artist Les Visible. I found it awhile back during one of my surfing episodes. I was surfing on topics related to our current circumstances – war, climate change, tyranny, economic crisis, etc. Our problems are global, there is much to worry about for all of us. So, while surfing, I came across this article by Les Visible – “Lizards and Vultures and Swine…Oh My“. He so rightly reminds us that it is always darkest before the dawn.
He included a link to the page to find this song, where he states “This is something I believe in and I wish it for you every bit as much as I wish it for me. Make it happen.”
…it made me cry. The song expressed for me the bittersweet blend of soul weariness and heartache with hope of its release and faith in a new day – A hope for freedom, I hope it brings you the same.
Farewell to Baris Akarsu
This past Saturday, I was playing around with the widgets for this blog. I found one for Vodpod and thought why not? So, I set one up and while surfing other pods, I came across a pod of Turkish music.
