Email Update from WexlerWantsHearings.com
Today, I received this email from the WexlerWants Hearings.com. I have already emailed my friends and family. Have you?
Whatever your party affiliation, if you value the Constitution, I believe we need to see this through and restore the Constitution. Then, we can debate the issues…
We have already reached 100,000 supporters. Thank You.
Now We Need Each of You To Send an Email to Ten More People to Get 250,000 Signed Up at WexlerWantsHearings.com by the End of the Year.
I can guarantee that your 100,000 voices calling for impeachment hearings will now be heard in Congress. Together, through our new Quarter Million Person Challenge, let’s now set a new goal of 250,000 Americans signing up to demand action.
It has been just 5 days since I called for impeachment hearings for Vice-President Dick Cheney and already over 100,000 people – including you – have answered that call by adding your name as an impeachment supporter at www.WexlerWantsHearings.com. This is a truly remarkable response that demonstrates the power that average, everyday Americans can have when we come together to pursue justice and accountability.
Never mind that the national media ignored my call and rejected an op-ed that I wrote along with my Judiciary Colleagues Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI). The Netroots and citizen activists like yourself are spreading our message and demanding action.
Quarter Million Person Challenge
Our movement continues to grow by the hour and the day. But, with the media blackout, I need your help to grow our effort. With 100,000 supporters already signed-up, if each of you e-mail ten of your friends (a “Chain-ey letter”) about www.WexlerWantsHearings.com and the need for Cheney impeachment hearings we will reach over a million Americans and perhaps we can reach a new goal of 250,000 signers by the end of the year!!

Let’s show congress we support impeachment hearings! Let’s show them how very many of us there are!
No administration has been anywhere near this kind of corruption. These criminals should not only be impeached, they should be put in jail FOR LIFE. Taking back the millions they’ve bilked from we taxpayers would also be sweet. But, we need to start somewhere and impeachment hearings are an absolutely essential first step.
Indeed. I have fantasies of seeing them dragged off in chains…
Time to Impeach
ITS ABOUT TIME WE GO AFTER THOSE LIARS CHEATS CRIMINALS–
CAUSING A WAR THAT HAS KILLED THOUSANDS OF IRAQ PEOPLE —-
AND AMERICAN SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN — COSTING BILLIONS–
MAKING CHANEY AND BUSH CRONIES BILLIONAIRS TOO
Util this administration, I never condidered myself to be politically interested, suddenly & over the years this administration has gotten my attention. Its obvious they are just crooks out to reap the spoils & at the same time spoil a nation. Hearings should be brought, Bush & Chaney should be impeached & criminally charged, they should be tried as war criminals, & all of their elegal dealings should be brought to light, & they should be held responsible in the courts. Ron Roundy
Same here, Ron. Until this administration, I pretty much ignored politics. I paid enough attention to decide who to vote for. I now believe that to have been a mistake. I now believe we all should have been paying attention to politics and to what the corporations have done to our employment benefits.
Once upon a time, salaries were high enough to support a family. Once upon a time, a student could support himself/herself with a part time job, go to school and still have time for visiting coffee shops. Once upon a time, medical and dental insurance was more comprehensive at a much lower cost. Once upon a time, parents had more time to spend together with their children. Once upon a time…
I once was involved with an abusive and controlling man. He even told me several of his control techniques. His favorite was “To cook a frog, you don’t throw the frog into a pot of boiling water – the frog will jump out. Instead, you put him in a nice lukewarm pot of water and bring the temperature up degree by degree. By the time he realizes it is getting too hot, it is too late and he is being cooked.”
It seems to me that “they” (whoever they are) have slowly and systematically taken our salaries, health care, etc. By now, most of us are so busy trying to stay afloat; we have no time nor resources left for anything else…
