The Liberal Government, headed for over eleven years by Prime Minister John Howard, was decisively beaten in a whitewash by the Labor Government and our now new Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd. I'm not one for politics but I cast my vote in the hopes to oust Howard once and for all. I, and many others across the world, staunchly believe Bush will go down in history as America's most despised President. The Australian people voted on a lot of policies, however one of the most important was to find a new leader who wouldn't - for want of a better term - piss in Bush's pocket. The world is in one of her most fragile states environmentally and in concerns to peace. Time for a change. Time to vote the war mongers out and give this planet, and her people, a chance.
